We are currently looking for a Forklift Field Service Technician with Forklift mechanical and electrical experience. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in the automation material handling industry! You will join our Mobile Automation team based in the Brisbane, Acacia Ridge office (customers across Queensland) and through our expert training you will have the opportunity to build a career while working on some of the world's most advanced robotic forklifts. This is a field service position, so you will be working at our customer sites across Brisbane, with occasional interstate and national travel. Typical Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:00am – 4:00pm Opportunities for overtime: occasional weekend or overtime work WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON You will travel to customer sites locally across Brisbane (and occasionally interstate) and be responsible for: Calibration and set-up of sensors, scanners and automation equipment (training provided) Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues on-site Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of AGV forklifts Non-specialised mechanical repairs Mast regreasing and chain replacement Wheel bearing service and replacement Diagnosing and replacing power and control fuses Drive and load wheel replacement Tasks and Qualifications: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Mechanical / Electrical forklift technician background is required Hydraulics and / or pneumatics experience is desirable High quality customer service and communication skills Be a champion of health and safety compliance Strong problem-solving abilities and solutions focused Be a team-player and enjoy helping others Current driver’s license WHAT WE OFFER Tools of trade: including fully maintained company vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile phone and laptop computer.
