Job Summary The Field Service Technician (AV / Workplace Technology) is responsible for the onsite installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of audio-visual and workplace technology solutions at client locations. This role is highly hands-on and client-facing, ensuring reliable operation of meeting room, collaboration, and integrated AV systems. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission audio-visual and workplace technology systems, including displays, projectors, conferencing equipment, control systems, and peripherals Perform onsite troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of AV and IT-related issues Support meeting room and collaboration technologies (e.g. video conferencing, wireless presentation, room scheduling systems) Read and follow system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Perform equipment mounting, cable termination, labelling, and rack installation Test systems to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with specifications Provide basic user training and technical guidance to clients when required Document service activities, configurations, and resolutions accurately Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and remote support teams Maintain a professional presence while working onsite at client locations Adhere to safety standards, company procedures, and quality guidelines 2+ years of experience with AV systems, workplace technology, or field-based IT support Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Familiarity with AV signal flow, basic networking concepts, and device configuration Ability to work independently onsite and manage time effectively Comfortable working in client environments with a customer-service mindset Experience with video conferencing platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Extron) Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE) Why Join us Opportunities to work on regional projects with global brands.
