  Bis Industries is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician perform / assist with the preventative maintenance, repair and servicing of BIS / Customer owned mobile plant and longwall equipment while on customer sites or in the Bis workshop as required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Performing breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing, and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults to ensure equipment reliability.
• Working both underground and on surface to maintain equipment.
• Completing all job-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhering to safety procedures, mine site regulations, and company policies.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Heavy Vehicle Trade Certification (Diesel Fitter/Mechanic)
• Demonstrated experience on underground mining equipment (mobile & longwall)
• Current RII DES certification and proven competency
• CP Status (Competent Person)
• Knowledge of mine safety regulations and site compliance
• The ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to travel and work in various field location
