OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team at AUTEC Car Wash Systems. The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining car wash equipment and systems, ensuring that they function efficiently and meet quality standards. This role plays a key part in our commitment to providing excellent service and support to our customers. Candidates must be willing to travel and must have a good driving record.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a related role.
  • Experience in preventative/building maintenance and general repairs.
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Strong diagnostic and execution skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities
  • Installation and Setup: Install, configure, and set up car wash equipment and systems at customer sites, following technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure that car wash equipment and systems are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, defects, or malfunctions by using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Parts Replacement: Replace faulty components, parts, or modules and ensure that they are correctly integrated into the equipment or system.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Perform basic electrical tasks, such as replacing solenoid valves, switches, and diagnosing control circuits. Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as replacing hoses, fittings, and valves.
  • Travel to Sites: travel to different locations in a company-provided vehicle. Ensure the company vehicle and its contents are well-maintained and organized.
  • Calibration:Calibrate and fine-tune equipment to maintain precision and accuracy.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, maintenance activities, and repairs, and complete service reports.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct tests and quality checks to verify that the serviced equipment or system meets performance and safety standards.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment, particularly when working with hazardous equipment or machinery.
  • Training: Train customers and end-users in the proper use and maintenance of equipment or systems.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for service visits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures in the service process.
