Job Purpose As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for providing technical service and support for our customers in the field. We’ll equip you with the knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and repair multi-function printers and scanners, conduct preventive maintenance, and deliver top-notch customer service. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate between $20-$27/hr, depending on experience Consistent Monday-Friday, 8a-5p schedule Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Options 401K with Company Match 9 Paid Holidays plus earn 2 weeks of PTO in your first year Opportunities for Continued Education Support of a Well Established & Trusted Company Job Tasks Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair copiers, scanners and multifunctional printers (MFPs) in customer locations Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of all machines Respond quickly to customer calls and requests for service Install and configure new hardware and software as needed Provide on-site training to end users Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies Document customer information, service calls, and machine history Stay up-to-date with new products and technologies Requirements Preferred Qualifications Self-starter with great attention to detail and deadlines Able to lift 75lbs, stand, stoop, crouch for prolonged periods with no issue Active drivers license with auto insurance coverage or the ability to obtain insurance coverage Be teachable and ready to learn new things as the industry changes and grows Must pass a pre-employment background check Performance Review Performance will be reviewed on a periodic basis. An annual performance review will occur discussing historical performance and future planning and strategy.
Responsibilities
The technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing multi-function printers and scanners at customer sites. They also perform regular maintenance, install new hardware/software, and provide on-site training to end users.
