Description Field Service Technician Location: Remote / Field-Based (Must reside within 50 miles of Glassboro, NJ) Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Field Service Technician to join our technical operations team. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end service cycle for our clients, including the installation, preventative maintenance, and complex repair of automated equipment. As a key face of the company, you will act as a primary problem-solver, ensuring our customers' machinery operates at peak efficiency. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to manage on-site exceptions and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities On-Site Technical Service: Provide high-level repair and preventative maintenance on specialized automated equipment. Installation Management: Lead and complete full machinery installations at customer facilities, ensuring all systems are calibrated to spec. Documentation: Accurately complete and submit detailed field reports, capturing all labor hours, parts used, and work performed. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company and client safety protocols and participate in ongoing technical training. Client Communication: Act as a bridge between the customer and our internal teams, providing clear updates on machine status and service timelines. Requirements Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining industrial machinery. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid foundational knowledge of electronics and electrical systems. Travel: Ability to travel extensively throughout the USA and Canada (valid Passport or ability to obtain one required). Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks common in an industrial environment. Credentials: Valid US Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional reporting and client interaction.
