We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.   Job Summary: This position will inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on various crane equipment including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, knuckle booms, bucket trucks, etc.). Mechanical experience required with electrical and hydraulics.  It is part of this role’s responsibility to help grow the business by identifying new opportunities and contributing to the development of customer relationships and market presence. This is a summary description and therefore does not capture the entirety of the essential functions of the role. The candidate should ensure they have read and understand the scope, job functions, and physical requirements needed for this role.   Candidates will be required to take a skill assessment as part of the interview/hiring process.   Key Responsibilities: * A minimum 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician that can operate and inspect cranes in order to diagnose defects * Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems * Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges * Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings * Tests mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications * Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness * Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision * Maintain conformity to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and other regulations * Properly fills out working reports, hour’s reports, time sheets, hour’s overviews, work orders, and other company and customer paperwork in a timely and efficient manner * Must complete expense reports in timely manner as dictated by the company policy * Exceptional customer service and communication skills * Ability to work overtime as well as on weekends is a plus. Travel is required periodically for 1 to 4-day intervals for field techs.
