WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Location : Newmarket, Ontario and surrounding areas
  • Work Schedule : 4 days a week, 10 hours a day
  • Position 100% on the road : Company Car provided
  • Valid Driver’s License : Required & Essential for the position

1. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of prior experience as a service technician or in a similar role, preferably in the medical or veterinary equipment sector.
  • Knowledge in electricity, electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and IT.
  • Valid driver’s license.

2. KNOW-HOW

  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and user manuals.

3. SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Flexibility and availability for frequent travel and overnight stays.

1. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES

  • Diplôme en électromécanique, maintenance industrielle ou équivalent.
  • 5 ans d’expérience préalable en tant que technicien de service ou dans un rôle similaire, de préférence dans le secteur des équipements médicaux ou vétérinaires.

Responsibilities

Equipment Installation

  • Install and configure veterinary equipment (e.g., imaging devices, laboratory equipment, examination tables).
  • Perform functionality tests after installation.
  • Train users on the proper use of installed equipment.

Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct preventive maintenance operations according to established schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Check the condition of equipment and replace worn or defective parts.

Troubleshooting and Repairs

  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Repair defective equipment on-site or in the workshop, depending on the nature of the problem.
  • Order and replace necessary parts for repairs.

Customer Support

  • Provide quality technical support to clients by answering their questions and resolving technical issues.
  • Advise clients on optimal use and maintenance of equipment.

Documentation and Reports

  • Document all interventions (installations, maintenance, repairs) in the company’s management systems.
  • Write detailed technical reports and intervention sheets.
  • Keep customer and equipment records up to date.

Continuous Training

  • Participate in internal and external technical training to stay informed about new technologies and equipment updates.
  • Share acquired knowledge with other team members.

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to current safety standards during on-site interventions.
  • Ensure that installed and repaired equipment complies with local and international regulations.
