Our Technicians are the heart of every service location, and we rely on their expertise in the delivery of the best service and solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and possess the technical ability to create imaginative solutions that meet and exceed the most challenging customer needs. Qualifications 3+ years of Service Technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming, installing and commissioning video and access control type systems. A good base knowledge of networks and electronic systems. Reads basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures; Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in operating various test equipment including but not limited to, utility software applications, network testers, and multi-meters. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Hold currently, or in the past, an Alarm License certification. Hold one or more computer or computer networking certification: examples listed (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+), (ETA-I CST, NCT, ICT, NST, WNT), (Cisco CCNA or prerequisite Cisco certification) Preferred knowledge: Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent, or military training in electronics. Preferred Experience with Avigilon or similar video and access control security systems. Security Clearance preferred. Team driven individual in a dynamic work environment, self-driven to perform even without outside direction. Ability to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 virus, unless a medical or religious exemption applies. Must have a valid drivers license.
