Full job description

This is an opportunity to join an experienced Brisbane-based service team supporting customers across critical industrial infrastructure sectors. You will work with electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, electrical systems and industrial control equipment in a hands-on field service capacity.

You will contribute directly to customer operations through commissioning, preventative maintenance, breakdown response, diagnostics and repair. The role combines technical problem-solving with regular customer contact and travel across Queensland and interstate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Commissioning, servicing and fault-finding electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
• Responding to breakdowns and providing technical troubleshooting support
• Delivering preventative maintenance programs for industrial equipment
• Supporting installation and retrofit projects
• Testing, calibrating and verifying equipment performance
• Producing detailed service and technical reports
• Providing technical support to customers and site personnel
• Identifying equipment upgrades and improvement opportunities

What You'll Need (Essential)

• Current unrestricted Queensland Electrical Licence
• Strong industrial maintenance or field service experience
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, loop diagrams and technical drawings
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and control systems
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Current driver's licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Queensland and interstate

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rotork actuators or comparable actuator systems
• Valve automation experience
• EEHA qualification or hazardous area experience
• Instrumentation Certificate or Dual Trade E&I qualification
• Experience in water, oil and gas, mining or power generation
• Exposure to PLC, SCADA or industrial control systems
• Calibration and commissioning experience

The Details

• Rate or Salary: Base + Super + Annual Bonus + Motor Vehicle + Fuel Card
• Duration and type: Permanent, full-time
• Location and work arrangement: Brisbane, with travel throughout Queensland and interstate required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
