Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Field Service Technician to join our Bosch Rexroth team in Malaga, WA. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering expert service and support to our valued customers, ensuring hydraulic systems and equipment operate at peak performance. You will handle service, fault-finding, repairs and commissioning activities both on-site and in the workshop, helping us maintain our reputation for quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role suited to a technician with a passion for problem-solving, strong technical ability, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work independently and as part of a close-knit team, representing Bosch Rexroth on customer sites and building trusted relationships with our clients.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in field service and/or hydraulic system maintenance
  • Strong hydraulic system knowledge and diagnostic ability
  • High attention to quality, safety and detail
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Respond to external service and breakdown requests; perform fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems.
  • Install, commission and test large hydraulic projects, ensuring high-quality standards and system performance.
  • Prepare service quotations and manage documentation (service reports, quality records, customer deliverables).
  • Conduct proactive system analysis and recommend maintenance or modernisation solutions to customers.
  • Identify spare parts and service opportunities to support ongoing customer needs and drive service growth.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and regular client engagement.
