We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Services Business in the Honeywell Building Technology team based in our Sydney office. Reporting to Field Service Supervisor, your focus is to service customer sites with a focus on the following trade disciplines electronic/electrical, Security and Access control to maximise customer satisfaction and minimize customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support. Key Responsibilities: Take charge of service of the customer site with a focus on maintaining electronic security, electronic and electrical, CCTV systems and associated field equipment. Work as part of the team and unsupervised in the provision of service and commissioning work of electrical, mechanical, control systems, and related equipment of a commercial or industrial type as assigned Maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support. Role will include (but is not limited to) installations, software configurating, testing and commissioning of security systems, CCTV equipment, access control systems, servers, networks and HVAC automation systems Be available 24/7 On Call Roster. Build strong relationships and maintain trust with clients and customers Able to work and perform duties outside of normal working hours at times Health and safety conscious and promotes zero harm Be accountable in managing sites and sub-contractors Trade certificate is essential or at least 2 years’ relevant experience Key Experience & Capabilities: ​Trade background in Security/ CCTV or equivalent experience ​Industry experience with installation, maintenance, fault investigations ​High understanding ICT & Network Communication skills ​High understanding of Servers, RAID’s and PC’s ​Good communication skills both written and verbal ​High standard of work ​Good documentation and record keeping skills High focus on all aspects of OHS Analytical and can think outside of the box Who We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
