REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of field service experience or aptitude.
  • 3-5 years’ experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
  • Demonstrated successful customer interaction and providing high levels of customer service.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalency, required.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Technician III (FST III) role is responsible for the implementation, installation, service, support, and training of Automation & Robotic Systems for our clients in highly diverse industries. An FST III’s primary responsibility will be to ensure new system installations are performed successfully by applying and tuning system variables to the pre-defined scope requirements. This will require a ‘hands-on’ application of strong mechanical, electrical and PC knowledge, and skills. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:

  • On-site installation, repair, and training within the Automation Industry, including robotics, vision, and motion control.
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems and ability to read schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform on-site fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting work.
  • Strong and diverse tool use experience (hand, power, pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, meters, gauges, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of factory-type instrumentation & equipment (PLCs, HMIs, etc.).
  • Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to challenging work schedules and business demands.
  • Travel will be required; the amount of travel will be determined by customer needs.
