Description
Description The Field Service Technician will be primarily responsible for start-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of industrial air compressors and compressed air equipment. The technician will travel to customer sites within the Lexington, KY and surrounding areas to perform assigned duties. Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and maintain rotary screw/ reciprocating air compressors and various types of air dryers Perform diagnostics and determine causes for failures on air compressor systems equipment Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning and setting of factory standard controls. Provide equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs Technical assistance on equipment start-ups of equipment Complete appropriate paperwork for each job Requirements 3+ years of experience working with compressed air equipment strongly preferred Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing Ability to read parts and service manuals, blueprints, schematics, etc. Ability to use multimeter, hand and power tools while following safety guidelines Ability to regularly stand, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.
