Summary/objective HTE Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tavoron, has been the region’s leading industrial productivity services company serving the manufacturing and processing industries with both equipment and services including compressed air, vacuum, blowers, and cooling water systems. We continue to grow and need an additional Field Service technician.  This position blends your electrical and mechanical aptitudes so if you believe you have superior troubleshooting talent, accurate record keeping habits, are organized with disciplined work habits, moderate to good computer proficiency, and good interpersonal communication skills we'd love to hear from you. Essential functions * Travel within assigned branch territories to service customer sites. * Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial air compressors, blowers, pumps, and related equipment across multiple brands. * Provide recommendations on equipment repair and preventative maintenance. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compressor technology; continuously develop mechanical and diagnostic skills to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. * Complete job-related documentation using basic computer skills. * Participate in on-site and manufacturer-supported training programs. * Willing to go the “extra mile” to exceed customer expectations. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * Experience as a field service technician is a plus. * 3-5 years' experience of rotary screw air compressors and related equipment. * Strong mechanical background with 1–3 years of experience in service repair (automotive, industrial machinery, etc. * Mechanical aptitude including basic electrical knowledge. * Prior refrigeration service experience is a plus. * Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure or time constraints. * Willingness to work in industrial and shop environments. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. * Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing tasks independently. * Strong safety record and customer-focused work ethic. * Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. * Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Physical Demands. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
