Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a Service Technician (Medium Speed Engine) in Singapore. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to): Performs replacement of parts and assemblies under the guide of service engineer. Under the guide of service engineer, works from service manuals, maintenance manuals, and medium speed engine equipment schematics. Performs tasks with minimum supervision using experience and good judgment. Communicates verbally in an effective manner with technical staff, other employees and customer on medium speed engine equipment problems or suggested improvements. * You will be entitled to overtime pay if overtime work is required . * This role may be required to travel for work overseas occasionally. Required Skill and Experience: Must have vessel engine repair experience Should demonstrate good mechanical comprehension and strong communication skills with technical staff and fellow employees Knowledge of maintenance, ability to communicate with other technical personnel and machine repair practices and procedures Additional Info: This position requires working onsite five days a week.
