POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team and be the primary technical support resource for customers located across Ontario. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our ventilation systems through service calls, start-ups, warranty support, and system upgrades.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Technical background in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., Electro-Mechanical Technology, HVAC, Automation) is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with agricultural equipment, ideally in the poultry or pork sector.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Ontario.
Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site service and technical support for our ventilation systems at agricultural facilities.
  • Conduct start-ups and commissioning of new system installations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, with phone support from the Québec based team.
  • Handle warranty-related diagnostics and repairs.
  • Install and support technological upgrades and retrofits on existing systems.
  • Collaborate with installation contractors, dealers, and end-users.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and customer documentation.
  • Support Sales Team with Booth Set-up & Booth Support at various tradeshows
  • Travel regularly throughout the Ontario territory.
