Due to growth, we are currently looking to add a new Field Service Technician to our team in the Hartford, CT / White Plains, NY area. We offer an awesome benefit package, company van, all needed tools, and all expenses paid for travel. Hours: Full-time 40+ a week. This position requires extensive travel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides on-site repairs Provides PMs/calibrations Service warranty work Installation of environmental test chamber Train customer on chamber operation Preform start-up services of the new chamber Installation Requirements Travel is required (all expenses paid) Minimum of two years college or trade school or five years of experience in the industry. Experience brazing/soldering/welding ferrous and non-ferrous materials Experience with plumbing Customer service experience. Electrical controls troubleshooting Refrigerant charging and recovery Valid Drivers License Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Basic computer skills EPA Certification
Responsibilities
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site repairs, performing preventive maintenance and calibrations, and installing environmental test chambers. Additionally, the technician will train customers on chamber operation and perform start-up services for new installations.
