MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
  • Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
  • 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs in your area.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30-40% overnight.
  • Experience with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus.
  • Experience with Alarms a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good driving record is required.
  • Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.
Responsibilities

The position is responsible for servicing and installing various electronic equipment to include security and point of sale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, inspects, replaces/repairs a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices such as cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, and point of sale equipment.
  • Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner.
  • Correctly review work orders, manuals, and drawings to properly perform maintenance and service of equipment.
  • Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job.
  • May be temporarily assigned to other geographical area to provide support with new installations and upgrades.
  • Other duties as required.
