SUMMARY

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, calibrating, and installing medical imaging diagnostic systems to ensure optimal operation and provide exceptional support to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • College diploma in Electronics, Computer Science, Electromechanics, or another relevant field of study;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital or medical environment;
  • Additional specific skills may be required depending on the modality, including radiography, fluoroscopy/radiography, mammography, as well as knowledge of PACS, RIS, and DICOM terminology, considered an asset;
  • Strong mechanical or electromechanical skills;
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs;
  • Good practical knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating system, and networks, considered an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment in hospitals and clinics;
  • Apply Christie Innomed policies, procedures, and best practices;
  • Provide field service for commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, proactively resolve issues, and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment;
  • Ensure proper maintenance of medical imaging equipment;
  • Meet client expectations regarding service quality and communication;
  • Complete product documentation, test reports, service records, etc.;
  • Travel to hospitals and clinics to perform planned or unplanned service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography, and computed radiology;
  • Effectively manage assigned time and projects;
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to client requests outside regular hours.
