Primary Activities/Duties Provide on-site customer support for climate control product installation, planned maintenance, repair, and service training. Complete required service reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Coordinate field service activities with customers and local Rittal sales personnel. Deliver telephone-based technical support to customers and service partners. Promote service contracts through customer engagement and communication. Understand customer requirements and recommend cost-effective Rittal solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to travel and work independently in customer-facing environments. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including use of meters and diagnostic tools. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and computers for extended periods. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers and internal teams. Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple assignments. Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols in designated areas. Knowledge & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in air conditioner repair; EPA certification for refrigerant recovery and servicing of CFC-based units required. Experience with industrial recirculating chillers preferred. Prior field service experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
