Sandvik Mining Field Service Technician – Mt Isa, QLD About the opportunity Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off OR 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off Machinery worked on: Field Service Underground Responsibilities: Take charge of mechanical duties, performing maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on all Sandvik Mining equipment. Execute mechanical maintenance tasks according to plans, ensuring equipment integrity and safe operation at all times. Drive efficiency by providing insightful feedback for maintenance planning improvements. Keep meticulous records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs. Champion safety by adhering to all policies and procedures, especially Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies. About you You should have a strong and proven safety culture, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong customer service focus. Basic computer literacy and a Class C Manual Driver’s License are required. Additionally, you must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, national police check and regular drug and alcohol screening. Agencies need not apply.
