We specialize in custom-engineered solutions, transformer services, and switchgear manufacturing. Field Service Technician Summary: Will assist with substation repairs, testing and or oil processing. Field Service Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Basic Understanding of substation electrical apparatus and substations.Capable of assisting with repairs, testing and oil processing.Safe and sound troubleshooting skills using basic test equipment. Requirements Field Service Technician Qualifications: Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, and physical. Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 + lbs., climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to work for extended periods which includes overtime, weekends and holidays with minimal notice. Field Service Technician Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED Specialized training in technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory education preferred.
