Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial finishing equipment. This is a remote, field-based position requiring regular travel throughout New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on installation experience, and a customer-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities Perform field installation of: Paint and powder coating booths Ducting and ventilation systems Industrial ovens Finishing application equipment (pumps, spray systems, related components) Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of paint and powder coating equipment Diagnose mechanical, airflow, and pump-related issues and implement effective solutions Work closely with customers on-site to ensure equipment is installed and operating properly Complete service documentation, reports, and job summaries accurately and timely Maintain a safe and professional work environment while adhering to company and customer safety standards Collaborate with internal teams as needed to support project execution and service needs Requirements General understanding of mechanical installations, HVAC systems, and pump applications Hands-on experience working with industrial or mechanical equipment (finishing systems experience is a plus) Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and installation layouts Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently in the field Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within NJ, Eastern PA, and NY Preferred Qualifications Experience with paint or powder coating systems Background in industrial service, equipment installation, or field service roles Electrical or controls familiarity (not required, but a plus) Work Schedule & Travel Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Travel: Regular regional travel required Off-shift work: Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work as needed for customer installations or shutdowns Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and install equipment components Comfortable working in industrial environments, including heights and confined spaces when required Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 401(k) Plan.
