TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnered with an industry leading manufacturer of industrial air filtration products and are searching for their Field Service Technician. This individual would be covering an Alberta and BC based territory, with the primary work being based in Alberta.
The ideal candidate would be someone with a background in providing industrial technical solutions, with sales experience, and a high mechanical aptitude. Candidates with an Electrical, Millwright, or similar industry background who have an entrepreneurial attitude are also encouraged to apply.
This position comes with a strong base salary, and bonus plan that would put this candidate above $100,000. A service van is provided.

JOB SUMMARY

Aftermarket sales technician, providing technical support and service to customers after the sale of products, coordinate with subcontractors for installation of products and sourcing of installation materials, preventative maintenance inspections, repairs and parts sales for existing installations. This role requires a strong understanding of the products and applications in source capture exhaust and filtration equipment / exhaust fans and dust collectors.   • Educational Background:
  • Completion of post-secondary studies in business or a technical trade, such as electrical work, millwright, or a similar field, is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • A natural ability to handle service and maintenance tasks in an industrial setting.
  • Strong skills in sales and customer service.
  • Previous experience in related roles is a plus.
  • Certifications or Licenses:
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Willingness to develop expertise in industrial ventilation systems and motor control troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming, ladder logic, and variable frequency drives is an advantage.
  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to thrive in an adaptable, self-driven work environment.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Open to learning new technologies and taking ownership of personal growth and job performance.
