Job Description Field Service Technician TOMRA North America, a top International Reverse Vending and Recycling Company, is recruiting for a Field Service Technician to travel around Iowa to repair and maintain our machines. The Field Service Tech will be responsible for traveling to the depots and retail stores where our machines are located in order to analyze, test, troubleshoot, repair or rebuild the mechanical and electrical components of our reverse vending machines (RVM). Since this individual will be at customer sites they will need to possess strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with all kinds of people. *** We provide you with a company vehicle *** Pay: $23.00 an hour, Quarterly bonus potential Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm Monday and Sunday OFF Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Requirements Include (but are not limited to): Mechanical: Trouble shoot and repair conveyor equipment and components Repair/ Replace: sorting units, compactors, safety switches, drives, gears, pulleys, etc. Electrical: Troubleshoot and replace electric circuits and systems which include: motors, fuses, circuit breakers, sensing switches, control wiring, transformers, etc. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical failures and faults Must be able to reach schematics and blue prints Rigging and Lifting Previous experience using chain falls, coma longs, hoists, lift carts, etc to safely move equipment and parts for installation or replacement Physical Employee is required to use hands to assemble, disassemble and repair mechanical components and RVM machinery. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and frequently push/pull up to 150 lbs. Job Requirements: Min. education: High School degree or equivalent required; 2 Year Degree or Certification Preferred Min. experience: 1-3 years’ experience in electromechanical field service or equivalent Must possess a valid Iowa Driver’s License Superb customer service and communication skills Excellent safety record at previous employers Work schedule could change candidate must be flexible #indsrvmi Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
