Description Are you an experienced forklift or material handling equipment technician—not just a general mechanic—looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company? Total Warehouse – Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic/Technician with at least 2 years of direct experience in forklift, material handling, or related mechanical repair. We are not seeking general automotive technicians; this role requires hands-on experience with electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklifts and warehouse equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will troubleshoot, perform planned maintenance, and repair a variety of forklifts and material handling machines. This is a customer-facing position, requiring strong communication skills and a commitment to building and maintaining long-term client relationships by understanding and meeting their equipment needs. Requirements Job Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders timely Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and offer equipment care advice Coordinate with the service team on parts orders, scheduling, and follow-ups Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company standards Education and Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience repairing forklifts, pallet jacks, or comparable material handling equipment Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electric and internal combustion engines (LPG, diesel) Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and follow troubleshooting protocols Comfortable working independently on customer sites Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Company vehicle will be provided) General automotive-only experience does not meet this role’s requirements Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Paid training and professional development Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Opportunities for advancement in a growing company
