Responsibilities

ROLE DETAILS

Based in Prestons, you will be reporting to the Technical Manager. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our Visy Technology Systems through servicing the machines in a timely and professional manner. The role requires the individual to identify the most suited approach in resolving customer issues and generating quotations whilst considering the most economical way of delivering a workable solution for the customer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conducting routine maintenance checks and inspections on Visy Technology Systems, such as printing and labelling machines.
  • Performing preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring all parts (to machine specifications) are ordered and are in stock locally to machine specification prior to service commencing.
  • Make efficiency and maintenance modification recommendations pre- and post-installation (or as required) to continually improve on reliability and performance of Visy Technology Systems equipment.
  • Documenting all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  • Maintaining accurate records of service visits, parts used, and time spent on each assignment.
  • Providing on-site training to clients on proper equipment usage, maintenance procedure and safety.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
