Field Service Technician Responsibilities As a Field Service Technician with WCTractor, you will utilize your top-tier customer service and technical skills to exceed customer expectations to improve customer satisfaction and maximize customer retention. This position will focus on hay customers with an emphasis on repairing equipment as it relates to hay equipment (round balers, square balers, etc). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide service and customer support during field visits Manage all on site diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and test tasks Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Produce timely and detailed service reports Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings Advise customers on the equipment Operate service vehicle in a safely manner Field Service Tech Requirements Field Service Technician Qualifications Minimum requirements for the Field Service Technician position include: High school diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for insurance Proven Field Service experience/great mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand on your feet up to eight hours a day Great communication skills and amazing problem solving skills A technical degree is preferred but not required Closing WCTractor's mission is to be the best in the eyes of our customers, employees, community, and industry, and to reflect honesty, integrity and Christian standards and values in all we do.
