As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the testing, maintenance and repair of our domestic and commercial energy storage systems. Providing minimal downtime and an excellent level of customer service for installers and end users.
This will be a really varied role, from supporting new or existing end users in the understanding of their energy storage system, through to diagnosing potential operational issues with the installation or equipment. This field-based role will require travel, and it may be necessary to stay away occasionally to prevent excess travel times.
Day-to-day requirements of the role may also include:
· Self-management of vehicle and ‘van stock’ to ensure the parts required are in stock on the vehicle to prevent return visits.
· Working alongside the workshop to ensure equipment is signed in and out correctly.
· Identification and resolution of potential issues with equipment both on and off-site including completing a pre-defined site visit sheet to keep track of installation errors or product issue.
· Liaison between the different departments within the business to develop new and current products.
· On-site training to new and existing installers or distributors.
