Description At SPL, we turn science into impact. We’re searching for a dependable part-time Field Services Technician to join our team in State College, PA. In this role, you’ll collect and transport environmental samples that support compliance and decision-making. You’ll follow established procedures, operate field equipment, and represent STL professionally at client sites. What You’ll Do Follow daily schedules provided via mobile routing software; Collect, transport, and deliver samples in accordance with SOPs, safety rules, and regulatory requirements; Prepare equipment, supplies, and documentation prior to daily routes; Enter required data into mobile devices and complete chain of custody documentation; Perform sampling activities at client sites on schedule and according to established procedures; Monitor vehicles and field equipment, performing routine QA checks and reporting maintenance needs; Coordinate with team members to meet all client deadlines efficiently; Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and return shared equipment to proper condition; Create and update customer notes, site plans, and project comments; Perform other duties as assigned.
