POSITION SUMMARY

Field/Shift Security Supervisors, provide frontline leadership and operational oversight for security officers across assigned sites. They are responsible for patrolling multiple locations, ensuring posts are staffed, verifying officer performance, and serving as the first point of escalation for incidents in the field. Field Supervisors balance accountability and support—coaching officers, enforcing policies, and stepping in during emergencies to maintain continuous coverage and high service standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Florida Class “D” and “G” licenses required.
  • Minimum 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clean criminal background and eligibility for employment via E-Verify.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Strong knowledge of incident response, de-escalation, and use-of-force policies.
  • Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight


    • Patrol assigned facilities, parking structures, and outdoor sites to verify officer presence and performance.

    • Ensure all posts are covered and guard activity aligns with schedules, post orders, and protocols.
    • Monitor officer conduct, uniform compliance, and adherence to licensing and equipment requirements.
    • Leadership & Support


      • Act as the on-shift leader for all assigned officers, providing guidance and immediate decision-making authority.

      • Mentor and coach security officers to strengthen professionalism, response skills, and accountability.
      • Address performance issues in real time and escalate to management when necessary.
      • Incident Response & Escalation


        • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated incidents, emergencies, and client concerns during shifts.

        • Respond on-site to disturbances, safety hazards, or operational disruptions.
        • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and internal supervisors when higher-level response is required.
        • Accountability & Reporting


          • Verify officer check-ins, patrol routes, and timekeeping through GPS and digital reporting systems.

          • Conduct unannounced site inspections and document compliance in supervisor logs.
          • Submit daily reports summarizing shift activity, incidents, and staffing performance.
          • Emergency Coverage


            • Provide temporary coverage for officer posts only in emergency situations.

            • Support disaster response, rapid deployments, and urgent staffing needs to maintain uninterrupted service.
