We’re looking for experienced Field Splice Technicians who take pride in their work and understand the importance of keeping operations running. This role is critical to our customers—and to our reputation. What You’ll Do * Perform vulcanized and mechanical belt splicing in field environments  * Set up and operate splicing and vulcanizing equipment  * Prepare belts (lap, finger splicing, etc.) across a range of widths  * Safely isolate and prepare conveyor systems for service  * Complete job documentation (time sheets, reports, expenses)  * Interact professionally with customers on-site  * Work independently or lead small crews when needed  What the Job Is Really Like * Work is performed in industrial and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to temperature extremes, humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and fumes from adhesives, solvents, and paints  * You’ll handle physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, working at heights). You may be asked to safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently, using proper lifting techniques. * Schedule includes on-call, nights, weekends, and emergency work  * Requires strong attention to safety, precision, and quality workmanship * Safety is non-negotiable—PPE and procedures are strictly followed, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves, and other required protective equipment as required.   What We’re Looking For * 2–3+ years of experience in fabric belt vulcanized splicing  * Strong working knowledge of conveyor systems and tools  * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision  * Experience driving trucks and trailers preferred  * Welding or fabrication experience is a plus  * Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team  * Valid driver’s license (required upon hire as a condition of continued employment)  * Ability to pass background check and drug testing  Why Join QCS * Work with one of the largest splice service providers on the East Coast  * Competitive hourly pay based on experience  * Opportunities to grow your career into lead roles and specialized work  * Strong benefits package (BCBS medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, PTO, life insurance)  * Be part of a team known for quality work and fast response
