OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management. Minimum of 5 years of experience REQUIRED as this role will requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site. The Field Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring quality control, and managing project schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising field operations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, estimating, quality control, and project scheduling.
  • Familiarity with pipeline construction practices is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractors and labor teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project milestones.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, including construction estimating and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. (OSHA 30 certification Req)
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines, manage resources, and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Utilize tools such as HeavyBid for accurate bidding processes and project tracking.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
