JOB SUMMARY

The Field Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing all field operations and site crews. This position ensures projects stay on time, on budget, and meet the company’s standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, and excels at motivating and managing multiple teams across residential and commercial job sites.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in construction supervision or field management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of site safety regulations and procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable with mobile technology, logbook systems, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage multiple crews.
  • Perform regular site visits throughout the day.
  • Lead and enforce daily safety talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms.
  • Ensure proper use and availability of PPE across all crews.
  • Monitor job progress to keep projects on track with respect to timelines and budgets.
  • Motivate and support foremen to meet quoted deadlines and productivity goals.
  • Issue change orders when needed for residential and commercial jobs.
  • Identify and escalate critical job site issues to management.
  • Conduct pre-start site visits to validate job scope and confirm project feasibility.
  • Enforce cleanliness and maintenance standards for vehicles and tools.
  • Maintain customer communication regarding next steps and expectations.
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings with office staff to review the look-ahead schedule.
