Description
The Field Supervisor coordinates and oversees all field and logistical components of Harmony’s exploration programs, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of work across multiple sites. The role manages day‑to‑day field operations, supervises staff and contractors, and maintains strong compliance with safety, environmental, and cultural heritage standards. Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities. In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project. In Australia, Harmony owns the high-grade CSA copper mine in Cobar, NSW and is constructing the Eva Copper Mine in Cloncurry, QLD. These assets are supported by the Harmony Australasia regional corporate office located in Milton, Brisbane. The Eva Copper Mine is a significant and strategically important project for Harmony marking a major milestone in the company’s copper growth strategy and its long-term commitment to Northwest Queensland. The mine will have a minimum life of 15 years and will involve mining multiple open cut pits providing copper bearing ore to a concentrator. Front-end engineering design is complete, and mine construction is expected to take up to 30 months with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year.
