Job Description Summary
The Field Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Field Services Manager in the day to day operations activities and contractor management functions within the NBN Unify Services contract.
About the Role
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Perth, WA
Reporting Line: Field Services Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of field staff and sub-contractors.
  • Undertake scheduling of work, staff and equipment to ensure production targets are met
  • Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant OH & S policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and assist in the training of all staff and sub-contractors
  • Liaise with the client and its customers to appropriately manage the client’s network and plant
  • Liaise with and make all arrangements with Public Authorities for provision of services to the network and working in public areas
  • Arrange reports to management and the customer on the status of work

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant technical qualifications, Cert III in Telecommunications
  • Experience within copper and or fibre
  • Previous experience meeting targets/budgets
  • Flexible approach and well-developed contract management skills
  • Strong clients focus and ability to negotiate with the client
  • Strong attention to detail
