SUMMARY

Working with the site Foreman and Superintendent, the Field Surveyor & Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining site surveys, completing daily reports, and communicating with all necessary parties.

REQUIREMENTS

• Training or post-secondary education in surveying or civil construction
• 1-2 years experience in surveying or GPS construction
• Willing and able to travel out-of-town/province, 22-day shifts with 6 days off
• Experience or training with GPS is an asset
• Able to read & interpret specifications, site plans, and drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of heavy equipment or civil construction is an asset
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, with a willingness to work in remote sites in adverse weather conditions.
