COMPENSATION Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY The Flooring Field Technician - Entry Level is a field position having contact with builders and homeowners. Duties will include small repairs, inspections, flooring finish work, and window coverings installations. Our ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and able to work with a sense of urgency while remaining positive and maintaining accuracy through daily processes. This is a hands-on position but will require basic technology skills using email, online calendars, basic phones apps, etc. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. At least 1 year experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Good basic skills with hand tools Intermediate technological skills – smart phone, email, etc. Strong organization skills Mathematical skills Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to lift 50lbs out in front of their body to install blinds Comfortable climbing up a ladder, sometimes in high staircases Problem solving mind set Proactive thinker Ability to focus on tasks within a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
