Description
Environmental monitoring - Use of portable equipment such as surveying equipment, Photo Ionization Detectors (PIDs) and landfill gas analysers to collect data as specified by the Project Team. Environmental sampling - Collection of groundwater and surface water samples. This may include the use of portable equipment such as interface probes, dip meters, multiparameter meters and groundwater pumps. Geotechnical Data Capture - Collection of data from instrumentation, such as inclinometers. Ensuring that where practicable all data collection onsite is in a digital format using tablet devices or laptops. Timely submission of timesheets and the data captured to the wider project teams. Clean and valid UK driving licence Minimum of 1 A-Level or equivalent in a Science related discipline. Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Willingness to work away from base location as the role primarily comprises working on client sites. Vehicles, equipment, overnight accommodation, and reasonable expenses are covered by the company whilst working away. Good understanding of using basic software on devices such as android tablets to ensure all data capture is in a digital format immediately transferable from the field.
Responsibilities
