Overview BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Location: Blackwater Mine site Schedule: Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Term End Date: February 27, 2025 Responsibilities Assist in geological fieldwork, including soil, rock, and core sampling. Prepare, label, and organize samples for analysis following established procedures. Record and maintain accurate field notes, GPS data, and sampling information. Support drill programs, including core handling, logging assistance, and sample processing. Operate and maintain field equipment (GPS, tablets, ATVs, vehicles, safety gear). Conduct routine field tasks such as establishing grids, cutting lines, and setting up camp or equipment. Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Assist with data entry, sample tracking, and logistical support for exploration programs. Communicate effectively with supervisors and field teams regarding progress, challenges, and requirements. Qualifications Diploma, certificate, or coursework in geology, earth sciences, natural resources, or a related field (preferred but not required). Valid driver’s license; experience with off-road or remote driving an asset. Standard First Aid, WHMIS, or other safety certifications (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work outdoors in remote environments and varying weather conditions. Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and extended walking. Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation Previous experience in mineral exploration, fieldwork, or related outdoor work (asset but not required for entry-level roles). Experience with sample collection, GPS navigation, or use of handheld field equipment considered an asset. Familiarity with drill programs, core handling, or geological logging support beneficial. Demonstrated ability to work in team settings as well as independently.
