This role requires hands-on technical experience, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a strong commitment to professionalism when representing our company on customer sites. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and service: Security cameras (IP and related hardware) Low-voltage cabling and infrastructure Access control systems Perform on-site work at schools and educational facilities Read and follow installation plans, diagrams, and scope documents Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues Communicate clearly and professionally with school staff and administrators Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Represent 525 Technologies in a professional and respectful manner at all times Document work performed and report job status as required Required Qualifications Prior experience with camera installations, low-voltage work, or access control systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces as required Professional demeanor when working in school environments Preferred Qualifications Experience working in schools, colleges, or public-sector facilities Familiarity with structured cabling standards Access control or security system certifications (a plus, not required) Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, switches) What Success Looks Like Projects completed accurately and on schedule Minimal rework due to attention to detail Positive feedback from school administrators and staff Consistent professionalism and reliability on-site Why Join 525 Technologies Work on meaningful projects that support educational environments High-autonomy role with trust and responsibility Stable, professional work setting Opportunity to grow technical skills and responsibility over time *Please note that this is a contract-to-hire position.
