THE ROLE

NTFS, Canada’s leading satellite and structured cabling provider, is hiring a technician based in Winnipeg (within 25 km). The position combines local work and assignments in remote communities across Canada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and troubleshoot network equipment, Wi-Fi, CCTV, digital signage, and fiber optic systems.
• Perform structured cabling (Fiber, Cat5e/6, Coax, LMR).
• Install and support satellite systems (GEO VSAT and LEO: Starlink, Hughes, Intellian, Kymeta).
• Support 5G network installations.
• Operate tools, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and towing equipment in rugged conditions.
• Work safely at heights, in confined/restricted spaces, and outdoors in extreme cold.
