JOB SUMMARY

We are an equal opportunities employer looking for a Field Technician to work as part of an established team for the provision of providing on-site technical support to our clients on a full time, permanent basis based out of our Head office in Portlethen Aberdeen. All duties will be performed in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 17020 Inspection Body procedures, with a commitment to impartiality, confidentiality, and technical competence.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • · Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Packages.
    · Communication skills to enhance working with colleagues and clients.

    · Ability to work as part of a team.
    · U.K. Driving License and willingness to travel to various job sites.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency in conducting CCTV inspections for various structures such as pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct RVI Inspection (RVI Remote Visual Inspections) in accordance with approved company procedures and relevant industry standards, ensuring impartiality and absence of conflicts of interest onshore, offshore, nationally or internationally as required.
  • Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection activities (If qualification held and in date) in accordance with approved company procedures and relevant industry standards, ensuring impartiality and absence of conflicts of interest onshore, offshore, nationally or internationally as required.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are documented and records retained in accordance with company procedure.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information, inspection data, and company records in line with contractual and procedural requirements.
  • Assisting Workshop Supervisor to prepare equipment for jobs and cleaning for turnaround.
  • Work with other technicians at sites onshore and offshore and possibly internationally.
  • Preparation of reports/video footage for clients
  • Undertake and maintain competency-based training and authorisation, as assessed in line with company competence procedures.
  • Comply with all company QHSE policies, risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work to ensure inspections are conducted safely and in compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
