We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional field service support, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively while working in diverse environments.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in field service or as a service technician is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts and the ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of Cisco routers is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently in various environments while adhering to safety protocols.

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber and coax internet.
• Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters, to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective communication via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems related to computer networking and telecommunications.
• Install and configure routers and wi-fi gate way and other networking devices as required.
• Document service activities accurately in reports and maintain records of work performed.
