Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the regional director, the candidate will work as a materials engineering technician. He/she will be responsible for a variety of jobs on site.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm materials delivered to the site (aggregate, concrete, asphalt) according to plans and specifications;
- Conduct field material testing according to applicable standards and procedures;
- Prepare site technical reports using ABS softwares;
- Perform maintenance and calibration tasks on certain equipment;
- Write and follow up on non-compliance memos;
- Implement H&S measures;
- Work out of town, such as Fermont, James Bay or Nunavut (at your discretion only);Perform any other related duties.
