Drives vehicle to pick-up or deliver items to location specified by the customer or Suburban Laboratories Collects samples from location specified by the customer or Metiri Group Works independently in the field Operates sampling machinery Maintains sampling equipment Assists with sample log-in Performs field tests Records pick-up and delivery information on daily log Informs regular customers of new products or service Listens to and resolves service complaints Obtains customer signature on chain of custody record Ensures all sample information is recorded on the chain of custody record Labels sample containers Cleans inside of vehicle Ensures vehicles are kept clean and in good working order Prepares shipments and receives materials Preserves samples Disposes samples and maintains sample rotation and storage in coolers General housekeeping throughout the building Performs all other duties as assigned Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in laboratory setting, preferred but not required Minimum of 1 year experience of client services experience, preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations.
