Title: Field Technician
Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
Department: Installations
Reports to: Field Project Manager
Purpose of the Position: The Field Technician supports MFP’s installations on hydraulic & lubrication systems at our customers’ facilities. Work will include infrastructure projects, mobile and industrial lubrication applications, service calls, preventative maintenance, and equipment start-ups. A Field Technician will learn all aspects of MFP’s business and will gain experience with on-the-job training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
· Experience with hydraulics systems and components
· Understanding of machine lubrication systems both mobile and industrial
· Familiarity with drilling & tapping
· Exposure to arc welding or ability to learn
· General understanding of schematics (electrical or hydraulic) and blueprint interpretation
· Technical training and/or certifications encouraged but not required
· CDL or ability to obtain a CDL
