Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Field Technician based in Bristol, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing coffee machines for our customers across Bristol and surrounding areas. While mostly field-based, you’ll also support occasional workshop duties and contribute to equipment upkeep, installs, and troubleshooting. You’ll receive full onboarding in London, followed by hands-on training and regular upskilling to help you grow with the role.
You’ll be guided by our Workshop and Field Technician in Bristol and supported by our wider Technical team – with a company van provided for work use.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Install, refurbish, service, and repair espresso machines and hot water systems.
  • Install and manage water filtration systems at customer sites.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance at customer locations.
  • Manage stock movements using our service app and keep your van well-stocked and tidy.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Manager and Technical Service Coordinator for scheduling and parts.
  • Log repairs, inventory, and invoicing details accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, setting expectations and representing Origin professionally.
  • Support goods-in/goods-out processes when working from base.
  • Use hand tools daily – lifting and manual work required.
  • Follow SOPs and health & safety protocols at all times.
