Help Build the Telecommunications Networks Powering Australia's Energy Future PSC is seeking an experienced Field Technician – Telecommunications & Networking to join our Adelaide team, delivering telecommunications, networking and operational technology infrastructure across utilities, renewable energy and critical infrastructure projects. PSC provides end-to-end capability spanning design, panel construction, installation, testing and commissioning from our Adelaide-based workshop and national field services team. What You'll Do You'll work across workshop and field environments, supporting the delivery of telecommunications and networking solutions throughout Australia. Key responsibilities include: Building and installing telecommunications, networking, and communications panels. Fibre, copper and structured cabling installation, termination and testing. Telecommunications equipment installation, integration and commissioning. FAT, SAT, fault finding, and technical troubleshooting. Network migration, upgrade, and lifecycle replacement projects. Travel to client sites to support installation and commissioning activities. Preparedness to work away from home to deliver field services as required. What You'll Bring You'll have experience delivering telecommunications and communications infrastructure within industrial, utility, or critical infrastructure environments. With a strong understanding of fibre optic and structured cabling systems, telecommunications DC power and IP networking. You'll be confident installing, testing and commissioning communications equipment, troubleshooting faults and maintaining accurate technical documentation. Experience supporting utility, renewable energy, or other operational environments will be highly regarded. Qualifications Essential: Certificate III in Telecommunications (or equivalent). Open Cabling Registration with Fibre endorsement (O), Structured Cabling (S) and Coaxial (C). Optical fibre installation, jointing/splicing and testing. White Card. Current Australian Driver's Licence. Full Australian working rights. Highly Regarded: Current TAAM Access certificate Telecommunications equipment commissioning and fault rectification. OTDR, OLTS and fibre testing experience. Radio/microwave installation & commissioning. Antenna/RF sweep testing. First Aid, Working at Heights, or other industry licences. Why Join PSC?
